The last “before” article. Just a few days until departure. I finished almost everything that had to be done. It was a bit stressful (and still is) the last days. But we all know, there are always a few things that are done in the last minutes.
The ship must be about halfway to Halifax now. I already got in contact with the office in Halifax to ask how the process will look like to get my bike. First I have to go to the office of the shipping company, where I have to pay local fees. After that I need to go to the customs office a few hundred meters away. Then it is about 13 km to the arrival port. If everything will be ok, I will get my bike on July 12th, hopefully in the same condition as I dropped it off.
