My leg is doing better day by day. While I had three appointments at the physiotherapist in the first week, there is now a week until the next meeting. It looks good. Our meetings are that way: The therapist tests how well I can move my leg and how much I can stress it, then he shows me exercises I have to do at home. I can move my leg very well, but I can’t stress it very much. For example, getting up from a chair with only one leg. I do not have problems getting up with the left leg, but it does not work with the right one. As if someone had flipped a switch that has disabled that feature. He also advised me to drive a lot with the bike, but do not run yet. On the first trips on the home trainer my butt hurt more than my knee.
As for my journey, I will leave for Halifax on July 11th. Also, the shipping of the motorbike is organized. The bike has to be in Bremerhaven on June 22nd. Planned arrival in Halifax is July 8th. The total weight of the luggage is about 40kg. Everything fits into two large bags. Taking a second piece of luggage is pretty expensive. It costs 65, – EUR. Unfortunately, at RoRo shipping it is not allowed to put stuff in the panniers. Sometimes it happens that the panniers (or cars) are broken in. That does not happen on the ship, but in the harbor when vehicles are waiting to be loaded.
Nearly all my stuff is already stored. My whole life fits in a room with about 20m2 – including disassembled furniture.

I woke up the motorcycle from hibernation a few days ago. Until now I only drove 2 km. First of all I need to organize a date to have it checked. Then I have to assemble a few more things, like a chain oiler and USB port, … .
